Boy Scout Troop 75 will be camping in tents from July 12 – 18, 2026 at Camp Blackhawk at Owasippe Scout
Reservation in Twin Lake, MI. This is the first of many opportunities for scouts to go camping in tents. They will have a
lot of fun exploring the area and working on a variety of different skills and work on any requirements for any ranks the
scout is working for.
Departure Location: Depart from the 1st Presbyterian Church at 6:00am sharp on Sunday July 12th 2026. Be sure to eat
something before arriving. We will stop for lunch prior to arriving at camp.
Return location: Pickup at 1st Presbyterian Church, approximately 1pm on Saturday July 18, 2026.
Cost: $425 per Scout for camp fee. A $75 deposit must be submitted no later than March 30th. The balance of $375 is
due by May 10th. Adult chaperone cost is $200 for the full week. Partial weeks can be done for chaperones at a
reduced price. See Ms. Lisa or Ms. Renee with questions.
Deadline: Permission slips and money must be turned in no later than Monday March 30th at 8pm.
Need to Know: Wear your Class "A" Uniform to the event and bring other comfortable clothes for the week. Dress for
the weather and See Scout Book for list of items to bring for camping.
REMINDER TO PARENTS: Any prescription medication or over-the-counter medication that your scout is currently
taking must be in the original package or Pharmacy container, Placed into a quart size Ziplock type Bag, and include
this form completely filled out RoutineDrugAdministrationRecordRevised2011.pdf. Upon Departure, All Material listed
should be given directly to the Scoutmaster or adult in charge for distribution per your instructions. SELF-MEDICATION
OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BY TROOP LEADERSHIP. The
only exceptions are medications that must be administered immediately (inhalers, EpiPen, etc.).
My son has permission to accompany Troop 75 on the trip to Owasippe Summer Camp at 6:00 AM on Sunday July 12th,
2026. I will be sure that he/she does not attend if he is not in good physical condition that day. I understand the
associated fee for the event must be paid in advance to the troop for accommodations by March 30th, 2026 and I must
have a copy of my scouts Medical forms on file with Troop in order for them to attend. Fees not paid by the deadline
date will cancel registration for the event. Late registration is not allowed beyond March 30th 2026, at 8:00pm.
I grant permission to the official chaperones or leaders, in the case of a medical emergency, to approve any medical
emergency treatment in my absence. In the event of an emergency, I can be reached on the telephone number given in
the next form. If I am unavailable, a secondary emergency contact will be provided.
